"Every Ukrainian instructor we prepare can then train a hundred of their own soldiers," says today's guest on Drošinātājs – private military instructor Bradley Crawford, who has 20 years of experience in the US armed forces, adding: "Ukrainian soldiers have immense combat experience and incredible adaptability, which is why we don't teach from NATO manuals. Working hand-in-hand with our Ukrainian colleagues, we ourselves learn every day and pass this knowledge on to others."

In a conversation with Dīvs Reiznieks, Bradley shares his experience of how the Ukrainian army has transformed from "post-Cold War era" thinking to a modern, technologically strong force. The open conversation also illuminates his personal motives, friendships, and losses that have turned this mission into his life's calling.

This is a complete interview without translation from the Latvian Radio’s podcast "Drošinātājs" (“The Fuse”), dedicated to the people of Ukraine and their fight against Russian aggression.
