"Many people have woken up from the hallucination that Russian culture is similar to ours or is the same", says Natalia Behma, a Ukrainian professional singer who arrived in Latvia with just one backpack on her shoulders and was accepted into the State Academic Choir “Latvija” just to sing in Latvian three days later. During this time, she has assessed Latvia as a dream place for a choir musician, while at the same time steadfastly fighting for the popularization of Ukrainian culture and the protection of her country.
